Under the Red Hood- Introduction

Welcome.

This is the official blog of Under the Red Hood, a Harry Potter/Smallville crossover.

Despite its name, the story has nothing to do with Jason Todd and is not connected to any canon works that use the same title. I had difficulties finding a title that I liked and ended of choosing Under the Red Hood for reasons that I will discuss later.

I will not post on here too often, as this is not a person blog and instead serves the function of providing additional information to readers, such as the Biographies and Timeline pages.

Before I end this post, I would like to explain the nature of this story a little more.

While Under the Red Hood is my take of Blood Brandy's Vegas Vacation Challenge, it is more than just that. It is intended to be an expansive story telling the story of Harry Potter after his Hogwarts years. As it is a crossover with Smallville, it should be expected that superheroes, supervillains, and the DC universe will play a large role in those aforementioned adventures.

This is not a canon story when it comes to either universe either.

Prior to the last chapter of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, excluding the epilogue, the only changes from canon are the fact that the timeline has been moved forward by ten years and that Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks survived the Battle of Hogwarts.

I reserve the right to ignore anything that comes from Pottermore, seeing as how there are many parts of it that I dislike, such as Merlin attending Hogwarts and Teddy Lupin's first name actually being Edward.

Unlike every other form of the Vegas Vacation Challenge that I have seen, Sirius Black did not fake his death, and the story starts when Harry is eighteen years old,

The Smallville part of the story is actually more canon than the Harry Potter part, at least as of the first episode of Season Eight. After that, the Smallville series will be used as a guide, but I reserve the right to make changes as I will.

Prior to that point, however, the only changes that are made are minor. There are inaccuracies in the series that I have cleaned up. They really aren't worth noting at all.

Anyways, that is all I have to say for now. Thank you for reading, and I welcome any questions you might have.
